Responsibilities:
* Perform daily routine maintenance, verification to improve and sustain the tester availability, downtime, and yield.
* Adhere to system test standards, guidelines, and practices as developed for both overall group operation and individual product test efforts.
* Performing line troubleshooting and supporting daily production operation.
* Verify that all products meet their operating specifications by performing a variety of functional and verification tests.
* Able to handle soldering and learn any rework tools utilized in AMD TMP Repair Centre for hands-on approach.
* Able to perform mechanical parts tuning and alignment.
* Prepare daily maintenance report to effectively communicate line status to test team.
* Adhere to all company and department policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology or equivalent.
* At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Male, 23 – 40 years old.
* Those with experiences on Test system LTX Credence, Delta handler, ICOS/Rofin Lazer marking, SLT (System Level Test) will have added advantages.
* Requires troubleshooting experience from System level down to experience with component level troubleshooting. Must have prove experience with electronic circuit analysis, failure identification and ability to read schematics diagram/circuitry.
* Must be able to use DMM, Test measurement meters, oscilloscope and standard bench test equipment.
* Experience with JTAG, Emulators/Analyzers and Software Diagnostics desirable.
* Familiarity and experience computers architecture, Networking concepts and TCP/IP.
* Fairly well accepted and good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Must be willing to do whatever is required to complete task or project on schedule and have a strong commitment to on-time performance with minimal supervision.
* Demonstrate a high degree of initiative and motivation and willingness to work proactively, either independently or within a team.
