Responsibilities:
* JOB DESCRIPTION
* POSITION TITLE: Welder
* LOCATION/DEPARTMENT: Workshop
* REPORTS TO: Workshop Foreman
* DUTIES: General welding of shop fabricated items to specific codes and customer
* requirements.
* Processes: Gas Metal ARC (GMAW)
* Flux cored ARC (FCAW)
* Work to Quality Systems.
* Non-conformances to be reported to Quality Inspector or Workshop Supervisor.
* Workshop area allocated to be kept clean and tidy.
* Work carried out to comply with the Steelstruct Engineering Safety Policy. ( on hand in
* Lunch room)
* All unsafe workshop practices to be reported to Safety Representatives or Workshop
* Supervisor.
* Welding Trade qualification.
* Minimum of 5 years experience as a qualified Tradesman.
* Experience in M.I.G and Flux Core wire welding.
* Able to work to all current welding codes, familiar with
* Passed G6 test (X-Ray )
* Work to international welding standards ,especially welding codes AS1554.5 & AS3992
* FUTURE TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
* Compliance to Australian Standard – ISO 9001 :2008

Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate or Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or equivalent.
* Required language(s): English, Filipino
* At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent. Job role in Welder or equivalent.
* 20 Full-Time and Contract position available.
