Responsibilities:
EXPERIENCE:
• Proven experience with the design of 2D and 3D graphics, logo and character animation
• Proven Graphic Design experience
• Experience using Standard Def Sony DV Cam, XDCam and High Def Sony Z1 and Cannon D5 EOS MII
• Ability to use video editing software such as Final Cut, Motion, Combustion, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator (CS5), Soundtrack Pro, Live Type and Mayer Programmes
• Proven knowledge and experience with the procedural operation and technique in the use of broadcasting cameras, lenses and recorders
OVERVIEW:
The successful applicant’s daily tasks will include the editing of material and items ranging from corporate videos, high quality Television commercials, music video clips and video/web based materials. The applicant will also be expected to create original 2D and 3D imagery. The applicant will be expected to work in a team environment, working closely with PVM’s Art and Video Director and the production team.
TRAINING:
The role includes an expectation that the successful applicant is capable of applying on the job training for Papua New Guinean staff in the field of video editing and animation throughout the contract period.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in any field.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees.Others or equivalent.
- 5 Contract positions available.
