Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing software applications according to the design produced by the architect
- Responsible for identifying the root causes of software solutions problems and provide recommended and standard solutions
- Responsible for testing systems for Dependability, safety, security and performance
- Responsible for writing help files, software and systems documentation, and technical guides
- Responsible for maintaining standard development approaches and practices to minimize maintenance and future enhancements costs
- Responsible for producing optimized code that adhere to coding standards
- Responsible for documenting the developed code and providing readable comments
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years development experience with Java programming language
- Minimum 2 years experience in JEE development including (JSP, Servlet, Portlet, and EJB) using Rational Application Developer
- Deployment of enterprise applications on WebSphere Application Server V6
- Minimum 1 year in Portlet development based on JSR168 portlet specs
- Ability to read and understand design documents and transform them into efficient and readable lines of code
- Certification in WebSphere Portal development is a plus
- Knowledge of porltet development frameworks such as JSF portlet, Struts portlet and hellip;etc
- Experience in deployment of portlet applications on WebSphere Portal Server V6
