Responsibilities:
Operate a modern hotel switchboard, manage incoming, outgoing and inter hotel telephone calls, answer hotel guest queries and supply information by providing accurate responses in a courteous and professional manner and record messages carefully.
Maintain a record of calls placed and toll charges. Perform clerical duties such as typing, proofreading and sorting mail. Use hotel’s paging system to call a hotel staff member as required, attend and participate in training and hotel staff meeting and assist in other areas of hotel operation when required.
Communicate with supervisor or management all occurrences involving staff or guests that require attention.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree.
Applicants must be willing to work in Dubai.
Minimum 2 years experience preferably working in a busy hotel switchboard or a call center, conversant with hotel switchboard systems.
Possess excellent telephone skills, clear and articulate, dedicated and pro active team worker and possess a mature outlook when under pressure during busy times.
