Responsibilities:
The Records Assistant is responsible for the following:
Computer Data entry
Filing and cataloguing via Accutrac system for Central file room as well as for external storage facilities
Collecting documents from Clients to the Central File Room
Collect Shredding boxes from each floor or department
Escort Agility Representative to collect boxes from Clients within AWT and coordinate delivery to site of offisite boxes identified for shredding
Photocopying, and other basic office tasks
Assist during File Clean up (Collecting Boxes, document…from Clients etc…)
Perform the Shredding of documents including confidential or protected documents
Issue at least one LPO a month and comply to site’s safety and control requirements
Requirements:
Associate or Diploma holder in Library, Records or Computer Science or equivalent experience in a similar field.
Computer Skills – knowledge in library management and/ or applicable electronic cataloguing applications is preferred.
Safety Awareness
Knowledge of Information management requirements.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Background checked by contracting company or equivalent security vetting.
No health issues that may be affected or aggravated by physical work (light lifting) or working in dusty conditions, etc.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Doha.
